Introduction
Seektag is a sneaky spy game that's all about spotting other players without getting seen!
App
- Direct players towards the in-app Tutorial for Zombies so that they can see an example of the game screen. Tap the ‘Tutorials' button on the Game page (far right hexagon icon in the main top menu)
- The game will also take place on this page
Beginning
- You get a couple of minutes of run away time before anyone can score
- (Competitive games) If you want to be sure that no one could guess your number, keep it hidden until you split up, then put it on before the game time begins
Ways to Score
- Spot someone (without getting seen) +5pts
- If someone you've spotted sees you back, you lose those points (this is called a ‘Counter-Spot')
- If you and another player see each other (at any time during game) then neither player scores
- Enter a wrong number and you will lose 3pts
- (If playing with zones) Tag a zone for extra points. Some zones are worth more than others, depending on how difficult they are to tag without being seen
- (If no minimum set for zones tags) Tagging zones is optional
End
- Once the game time is up your score is fixed and you can come back to the meeting place
General
- You're not allowed to cover your number in any way, for example with your hands, phone, hair or clothing
- You ARE allowed to physically hide to protect your number
- Remember to put in every number you see, even if you just bumped into another player
Safety
This is where you need to communicate your own safety advice, including anything specific to your people or playing area.
Here are some additional suggestions:
- (For shared spaces) Other people are also enjoying this space today. Remember that non-players always have priority over us. Give any non-players lots of space and make sure you don't disturb anyone who might not want to be disturbed
- (Safeguarding) If you experience any behaviour that you're not happy about, either from anyone within this group, or anyone else you come into contact with, please come and tell us straight away
- (General) Games can be very exciting, but please remember to take care as you are playing today. Don't run around blind corners or across roads. You shouldn't do anything that feels unsafe. Look out for each other and remember, it's just a game!
